Chianti Classico DOCG is a wine produced in the municipalities of San Casciano Val di Pesa and Barberino Tavarnelle, with vineyards located between 325 and 400 meters above sea level. The harvest takes place between the end of September and the first ten days of October, with manual picking. The vinification takes place in cement tanks with a maceration of 22-23 days, followed by aging for 14 months in French wooden tonneau and 3 months in the bottle. With an alcohol content of 13.5%, the wine has an intense ruby red color, with ripe fruity, floral and spicy notes on the nose. In the mouth it is balanced, soft and rightly tannic, with a notable persistence. It pairs perfectly with grilled red meat, game and meat-based first courses, served at a temperature of 16 ° C.
